Bumper Rookie Instructor Course for 2017

Over the last weekend, the branch supported it's biggest Rookie Instructor course - 20 candidates from around the branch and some from beyond attended the course at Worcester Citizens Swimming Pool in Worcester.

Ranging in age from 16 to 53, from Droitwich, Lower Wick, South Worcester Lifesaving Clubs to further afield Otters in Castle Bromwich and Alsager Lifesaving Club the candidates travelled for the one day course run by trainers Teresa Myatt and Debbie Weston.

Although a big group there was lots of good fun and interaction between candidates.

"It's great to see Rookie courses continuing to be run throughout the branch and beyond, spreading the drowning prevention message" said branch chair Teresa Myatt.

Another course is planned for next year.
